Pictures from Normandy

Bayeux Tapestry. It was VERY VERY long, in many ways.

This is how you make the Bayeux Tapestry FUN!

We like to pretend that we're in London, but we really aren't...

Me at Arromanches with the fake bay behind me
Seashell searching at Arromanches

Arromanches - We finally found a place where they LOVE Americans!

American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. It was really incredible here!

Hiding in German bunkers at Point-du-Hoc. These are our scared faces!

Karin and I being 5 year olds in the craters at Point-du-Hoc. She just shot me dead. RUDE!

St. Mere Eglise. This is where a paratrooper got stuck during the D-Day landing. This, however, is just a dummy.

We were a little scared about being in room 13 on Friday the 13th, plus there was a ghost in the toilet and pretty sure there was a banshee howling outside our window.

Mont St. Michel. Beautiful!

A group of us girls!
