"Good" Ideas

Well finals are over! I don't think I did so well on my European Studies 336 class, but we'll have to see. Then today I just got a 97 on my French final (yessss.....so happy!), and I have no idea how my art final did, but I am just sooo happy to have that class over with!
This week hasn't been TOO bad, considering we've had finals looming over our heads. On Monday I spent my day reading and napping in the Parc Monceau with my friends Chris and Julianne. I felt very French. :) Monday night after FHE, we finally made our way up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It was beautiful!
Karin and I pre-celebrated our finals being over this week by making a music video. We decided to do this during our art class in the Picasso Museum. We really liked playing with the great big mirror on the outside of the museum. It threw me for a loop because it really looks like it is the building and not a reflection, except for the blurry part of course. So during class we thought it would be interesting if I chose all the odd counts and she chose all the even ones. We thought it was a grand idea! And it definitely made art class a little more funny :) Unfortunately, we've discovered that a lot of our ideas sound really good at the time, then don't turn out quite like we thought they would....
So we got dressed up, full of energy that was waiting all day to be released! We giggled lots and took some pictures, then started putting our dance together, then realized that was more difficult than it seemed. We each learned like 4 moves, then improvised the rest. Oh yeah, you think we are weird? I promise we aren't as bad as we seem...it just depends on how long we are pent up in our rooms studying I suppose. We heard some crinkling noises coming from my body while I was doing a little dancing, then we realized that I forgot to take this out of my new swimsuit. Haha this is probably more than anyone cares to see, but I think my face just about sums up our night!

Then another of our "good" ideas came into play yesterday! Karin, Aly and I decided to ride our metro line (Line 10 represent!) and get off at every stop to see what we have been missing out on underground this whole time! Needless to say, we didn't get very far before we got really tired of it. We only went about 10 stops, then decided to go home and sleep. I had stayed up until 4 the night before studying for my final and then got up at 7, so I was rather tired and in need of a nap! But hey, at least we got a few pictures to remember are little old Line 10. Boulogne-Jean Jaures is our home stop! And we've always considered Charles-Michel to be kind of a ghetto place. Not sure why...possibly because there is always construction going on...? Who knows. But that is me and Aly with out ghetto gang signs. :)

I can't believe I'm heading home in just 5 days! It has gone by so quickly. I absolutely love it here and will miss it so much, but I'm also so excited to be heading back to my beautiful Cottonwood Heights and just to be in America!
